[edit] Helping the fallen man

Travel to Lunar Isle. Changing spellbooks to the lunar set may help, as will carrying runes to teleport back to the bank.
Travel northeast from the bank and go down the mine, then crawl through the passageway to reach the fallen man. You can talk to him and inspect him. The inspect option opens a status screen. Note : If you didn't bring enough food, you have to run back to the bank, to make it faster and safer you should use level 69 lunar spell MoonClan Teleport

Cyrisus isn't well...
He will need you to increase 3 stat bars, in this order - health, spirit, and armour.
Health - To feed him, you should take 3 kinds of food. It doesn't matter what food, sharks aren't better than tomatoes. Take 7 pieces of two kinds, and 6 of the third. Use the food on Cyrisus to feed him, if he refuses it, just give him a different kind of food. (Note: You can use one type of food by logging out every time you fed him. Using sacks or baskets of farm produce is a good idea.)
Spirit - Increasing his spirit is done by talking to him - it is a little hit and miss, but just try to choose the most positive things. This part is long, but no dire consequences if you get it wrong.
Armour - Go to the bank on Lunar Isle and talk to the banker 'Bird's-Eye' Jack. (Tip: He is seated on right most desk.) Tell him you want to access Cyrisus's bank account, from there select: a helmet, top, legs, boots, and weapon. It is mostly guesswork, and you need to check whether you got it right. The easiest way to check is using the level 67 Lunar spell NPC Contact to ask Cyrisus whether you chose right. It may take several tries, but eventually he will tell you your choice is just right, take that set to him in the cave.

Cyrisus' Bank
Note: The outfit is usually based on your highest type of combat (i.e. melee, ranged, magic). The most common set if your highest combat skill is:
Melee: Dragon med helm, Ahrims robe top and robe skirt, Ranger boots and an Abyssal whip.
Ranged: Robin Hood Hat, Karil's leathertop, Black d'hide chaps, Ranger or Adamant boots, and a Magic shortbow.
Magic: Splitbark helm, Ahrims robe top and robe skirt, Infinity boots, and an Ancient staff .
[edit] Making the potion

Head south to the Oneiromancer, who is on the southeast of the island near the Astral Altar. Talk to her and Cyrisus will appear. The Oneiromancer will suggest going into dreamland together to solve Cyrisus' fear of combat.
The Oneiromancer will give you a special vial. Fill this with water.
You need to obtain some goutweed, either by growing a goutweed tuber, or by stealing it from the troll kitchens during Eadgar's Ruse quest.
If you choose to steal from the Troll Stronghold, you will need run energy for sure, and likely plenty of food or Protect from Range. There are three points to hide. You can see the two obvious ones. They are "U" shaped. Get to one, wait for your moment then get to the other. South east of the second hiding spot, you will see one empty space at the south of that row of boxes. It looks like either of those two trolls will see you, but they do not. Once in there, it is easy to spot your opening. Grab the weed and get booted out, and let's hope you never have to do THAT again. You could also try running directly to the crate and hoping you're lucky and don't get caught.
There is a way to click right next to the southern crate of goutweed. Simply wait for the correct rotation of the guards. Please note, this method is extremely hard, and it is recommended to go a slower way, evading more often.
Use the goutweed with the vial.
Use a hammer with an astral rune to make astral rune shards, and then use pestle and mortar to turn these into ground astral rune. Add this to the potion to get a shared dream potion.

[edit] The Battles in Dreamland

A Doubt.
Head back to Lunar Isle. Cyrisus will be waiting for you at the Dream hall.
Bank and prepare for a hard fight. Prayer and familiars are not allowed in the following fights, so stocking up with high-quality food such as sharks or Tuna potatoes are recommended. Good armour and a weapon is also essential. You will need a tinderbox to light the brazier, the dream potion, and lots of food. If you sip from a super set before entering Dreamland, your stats are retained. Do not take any armour and/or weapons you are not prepared to lose.
Light the brazier, and talk to Cyrisus to enter the dream state. (Tip: After you light the brazier, you may bank the tinderbox, Seal of Passage, and any other items now. You get more inventory space for food. You may also use the Dragon Battleaxe special to boost your strength and then switch your weapon back and bank the Dragon Battleaxe before proceeding). There is a confirmed safe spot to use for the 2nd and 3rd monsters, so if you intend to take advantage of this, you should bring runes and/or range equipment.
You will enter his Dreamland. Here, you will have to fight many high level monsters in a row, without prayer. The first form can use magic but won't do so when you melee it, so it is recommended to kill the first monster with melee combat.
You can escape the Dreamland during the battle by using the lectern at the northern end of the room. Teleports are not allowed so this is the only possible escape.
Note: Do not wait until you are almost dead to run to lectern. If you choose to run, do so when you have at least 30 hitpoints when on the first monster. Its range may still kill you outside. Tip: You may choose to battle the monsters right by the lectern, saving precious time running to the lectern when you're dying.
Note: Iban's blast is very effective against all the monsters, more so on the last three, than the first.
During the fight, a bar will appear at the top of the screen, showing Cyrisus' courage. It fills up as you damage the monsters. As it rises, Cyrisus will occasionally cast Vengeance Other on the player, and when the bar is full, Cyrisus will deal some damage to the monsters.
[edit] The Monsters

Are you good enough to fight?
The Inadequacy (level 343)
The first monster is a level 343 named The Inadequacy, who during the battle summons many little creatures called A Doubt (Level 78s). This is unquestionably the hardest battle, and if you can make it through this one, the rest should be comparably easy. Note: Using a poisoned Dragon dagger is very effective against this one. Recent experience showed no vulnerability to poison so this may no longer be the best option. Note: Blood Burst is also extremely effective, as it reduces the need for food and takes advantage of the summoned doubts. Concentrate on The Inadequacy; don't try to kill little creatures. Set auto-retaliate to OFF to avoid fighting the beings he summons. However, using the special attacks, and switching weapons later will cost you some time. Note: You'll still need to attack it manually if you eat or drink a potion.

Can you endure long enough?
The Everlasting (level 223)
The second monster is a level 223 called "The Everlasting." This should be much easier than The Inadequacy, but you should still take extreme caution. If you have brought along mage or range equipment, now is the time to use it. There is a safe spot to the side of the lectern that will keep you from being hit at all.

Can you bring yourself to hurt another?
The Untouchable (level 274)
The third monster is easier, still, at level 274, The Untouchable should be much easier than the first form. However, it can still do high damage (maximum hit: 28), so take caution. It has high defence, which makes up for its relatively low hitpoints. Therefore, you should attack it as soon as you can to ensure that it won't escape. This monster is also able to be safe-spotted by using the same place as you did for "The Everlasting".

What if you don't know how to win?
The Illusive (level 108)
The fourth monster, The Illusive, will appear and disappear regularly during this battle. It is similar in combat conditions to a Giant Mole, except that it does not run so far and rarely hits back. Be patient as you can only hit once or twice before it disappears. Run after it and hit it, then run back to Cyrisus before it appears again. Being in the middle of the room each time should make it easier to spot its new location.

Cyrisus defeating the Illusive.

[edit] Finishing Up

A player receiving a reward from Cyrisus.
You will return to Lunar Isle, and Cyrisus will celebrate the hard-fought battles.
Note: If you left your Seal of Passage in the bank, you have to retrieve it now.
Travel back to the Oneiromancer on the southeast of Lunar Isle. Both she and Cyrisus will be waiting.
Talk to Cyrisus, then talk to the Oneiromancer. Cyrisus will reward you for helping him overcome his fears. Quest complete!
